Doctorand Position For Research in Medical Signal Analysis
at Hamburg University
The task is to develop methods and software for the analysis and
automatic diagnosis of biosignals. Special emphasis is on suppressing
artefacts with the help of body-motion sensors.
The position is offered by Medset Medizintechnik GmbH (contact Mike
Fornefett) as part of the governmenmt-funded project CALM
(Context-aware cardiac Long-term Monitoring). Academic supervision
will be by Prof. Bernd Neumann of the Cognitive Systems group at
Hamburg University.
Candidates should be knwledgeable in one or more of the following
areas:
* acquisition of biosignals
* software development for biosignal processing
* software development for intelligent decision making
* software development for embedded systems
* programming experiences with Java
* rapid prototyping experiences with Matlab or other signal
processing tools.
The duration of the position will be 3 years, starting from January
2006. Gross salary will be ca. 28000,- EUR per annum.
