Image Metrics produces world leading image analysis software solutions
for the global Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industries, with a
strong emphasis on tools that measure anatomical change in diseases such
as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. This
appointment is indicative of significant growth plans in line with a
rapid expansion of our operations. 

Your role will primarily be to analyse, research, design and implement
new image analysis algorithms and applications, and to support existing
applications by using and extending our core image analysis software
platform, "Optasia Medical". There's a real opportunity to explore new
ways of measuring disease as well as bring automation to current
measurements through novel and sophisticated image analysis algorithms.
Additionally, you will support technical consultants in capturing user
requirements and providing resource estimates. There will also be
opportunity for occasional international travel.

Candidates should possess a post-graduate qualification in computer
vision, ideally with experience of medical image analysis research. You
should also have a strong background in mathematics, statistics or
computer science. You will be a true self-starter, an excellent
team-player and motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference
to the business.
