SCANDINAVIAN CONFERENCE ON IMAGE ANALYSIS 2009

Following the long line of Scandinavian Conferences on Image Analysis
the 16th in the series is to take place in Oslo, Norway on June 15-18,
2009.
The conference invites paper submissions presenting original work within
a range of topics related to digital images:
Image Analysis Computer Vision
Machine Vision Image Processing
Pattern Recognition Neural Networks
Systems and Architectures Color Imaging
Industrial Applications Remote Sensing
Biometric Person Identification Multimedia
Biomedical Applications Future Technologies
Astronomy and Astrophysics Applications
Multispectral Imaging, Systems and Architectures
All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings to be
published by Springer as a volume in the Lecture Notes in Computer
Science series.
Since 2009 has been proclaimed the "International Year of Astronomy "by
the United Nations General Assembly we are planning a session on the
topic "Image and Pattern Analysis in Astronomy & Astrophysics".
We are also pleased to announce that the 11th International Symposium on
Multispectral Colour Science (MCS'09) is collocated with SCIA 2009
PAPER SUBMISSION
All submissions will be handled electronically. Submission instructions
will be posted on the conference website www.scia2009.org. All
submissions will be reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers. Papers
will be accepted for oral or for poster presentation. Submissions (as
well as accepted papers) are limited to 10 pages.
IMPORTANT DATES
Submission of full paper: January 5, 2009
Notification of acceptance: February 22, 2009
Camera-ready paper: March 8, 2009
Registration for paper presenters: March 14, 2009
