[Imageworld] NEW Master of Computer Science program in Computational Biology (Nice Sophia Antipolis University)

Nice Sophia Antipolis University (France) is lauching a new Master of 
Computer Science program in Computational Biology. The scientific goal 
of this program is to focus on the human being from different 
perspectives (understanding and modeling functional aspects or 
interpreting biomedical signals from various devices) and at different 
scales (from macro-level to micro-level).

The aim of this program is to provide excellent academic or industrial 
career opportunities by offering high level coverage of modeling and 
computing principles that will help to meet the challenges and make the 
technological choices of tomorrow in the domains of biological and 
medical computing. To achieve this, all classes will be given in English 
by several outstanding professors and researchers from research 
institutes in the campus: Nice Sophia Antipolis University/CNRS (I3S, 
IPMC, LJAD, INLN) and INRIA.

Application period is now open for 2009-2010. Any student from any 
country can register. Important dates are:
- February 1 -- March 31, 2009: First round of applications
- April 15, 2009: Notification of acceptance
- April 15, 2009 -- June 15, 2009: Second round of applications
- June 30, 2009: Final notification of acceptance
