Research Engineer – To Develop a Computer Vision System for Real-Time 
Human Screening/Profiling/Recognition, Queen Mary University of London, UK

Experience and qualifications:
C++, Matlab, OpenCV, XML, Linux, Visual Studio, a suitable PhD or Master 
degree in Video/image processing/Computer Vision and Machine learning, 
3+yrs software development, be self-motivated, technically accomplished 
and a team worker.

Applications are invited for a research engineer to develop a real-time 
human screening and profiling system using computer vision and machine 
learning techniques. The work is part of a 15 months proof-of-concept 
project. Salary 34K per annum inclusive.

Successful candidate will join a team of researchers at the Queen Mary 
Vision Laboratory in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer 
Science, Queen Mary University of London

behaviour analysis and abnormality detection, people detection and 
tracking in crowded scenes, video object super-resolution for face 
recognition, human facial expression and body language modelling , 
video-audio avatar, dynamic scene background removal, and object 
categorisation.
