Image analysis for mobile augmented reality
The Architecture and Models for Interaction group has a position
for a post-doctoral researcher in the application of real-time image
analysis for mobile augmented reality. The position will be at
LIMSI-CNRS (30' by train from the center of Paris).
The applicant will join the group developing new methods for
visual tracking and calibration. The project is orientated
towards two artistic applications of augmented reality:
one on the visual augmentation of river banks and another
one on video-projection in shadows.
The position will involve the development of real-time algorithms
possibly relying on GPU-programming and ability in programming in
C/C++.
Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant discipline or a diploma
of a School of Engineering. The position is initially funded for
4+10 months.
