[Imageworld] [SPD2010 Competition] New annotation file for the training data set

[SPD2010]

Dear colleague,

 

The new annotation file for the initial training data set is already
available on the Fingerprint Singular Points Detection Competition website -
http://www.fe.up.pt/~spd2010. 

 

Some errors were found on the initial version and it had to be replaced. Our
special thanks goes to Qijun Zhao from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University
for the comments provided.

 

Don't miss the opportunity to compete on this such original and interesting
event.

 

Dates to remember:

 

6th November 2009 - Training data set made available (210 images +
annotations).

8th January 2010 - Deadline for the competitors pre-registration.

29th January 2010 - Deadline for the submission of the algorithms to the
competition.

11th February 2010 - Publication of the submitted algorithms ranking.

25th February 2010 - Deadline for the submission of the invited papers.

11th March 2010 - Suggestions to the authors after the reviewing process.

21st March 2010 - Deadline for the submission of the camera-ready invited
papers.
