Dear All,

We are pleased to announce that we have today (1 February 2010) publicly
launched V&L Net.

As you know, the main purpose of V&L Net is to stimulate and pump-prime
research that brings together computer vision and language processing
technology through a variety of networking activities and resources. We
look forward to starting our work on this now.

Please explore our website which has details on all aspects of V&L Net:

http://www.vlnet.org.uk

The MEMBERSHIP page has information about the three types of V&L Net
membership. If you now wish to become an associate or full member of V&L
Net, please let us know. If you wish to just receive the V&L Net
quarterly newsletter, no action is required on your part, as you are
already subscribed to it.

With best wishes,

Anja Belz and Dimitrios Makris
V&L Net Coordinators
