CALL FOR PAPERS

eieCon2011 is organized by the Department of Electrical & Information Engineering of Covenant University http://covenantuniversity.edu.ng/, the foremost private institution of higher learning in Nigeria. The conference holds from the 13th to 15th of September 2011 at the African Leadership Development Center Complex of Covenant University, Nigeria.

The conference will provide a forum for sharing insights, experiences, expertise and interaction on various facets of evolving technologies in the areas specified as conference topics of interest. eieCon2011 provides the most relevant opportunity to bring together students, researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry. The conference will include a peer-reviewed program of technical sessions and exhibitions from key industry players within the scope of the conference.

Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished results are solicited in all areas of theory and practice of Computing, Energy, Networking, and Telecommunications. Authors are invited to submit papers either through the EDAS Conference Management System ( https://sites.google.com/site/eiecon01/home ) or directly to the conference email address (eiecon at covenantuniversity.edu.ng  ) using the conference PaperTemplate ( https://sites.google.com/site/eiecon01/call-for-papers/PaperTemplate.doc?attredirects=0&d=1 ).

All papers will be subjected to double-blind peer-review and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Outstanding manuscripts will be recommended for publication in the Covenant Journal of Science & Technology (CJST) - an international publication of the College of Science & Technology of Covenant University. The organizers of eieCon2011 as well as our attendees expect accepted papers to be presented at the conference.


Best Paper Awards:
As evaluated by TPC Chairs and Members, Two (2) papers will be given Best Paper Awards for eieCon2011 in the general and student categories respectively. The above committee will expect the presentation of the selected best papers during the conference before finalizing the list. The winners will be declared during the conference.
