Subject description:
The subject consists of algorithm design and the construction of 
computer systems that can learn from experience and generalize from data 
exemplars. Mathematical and statistical modelling is used both for 
supervised and unsupervised learning from large and complex data sets 
such as video and audio streams or other kinds of sensor data.
