Workshops
================

Proposals for workshops are solicited for the 2012 ACCV.
Workshops will take place on Nov. 5, 2012, at the same venue as the ACCV main conference.
Workshops provide an informal setting where the participants have the opportunity to
discuss cutting-edge research issues and emerging topics in computer vision in an
atmosphere that fosters the active exchange of ideas. We hope to bring together
researchers from different academic communities as well as from industry or public
institutions. Each workshop should be well-focused, and encourage collaboration and
discussions among the participants. Workshop duration may be a half day or full day.

Appropriate subjects for workshops include topics from computer vision as well as
related fields or application areas. We are especially interested in workshops
exploring new, emergent research directions in computer vision.
Workshops may consist of talks by invited speakers, panel discussions, presentations
by authors of submitted papers, or a combination of the above.

Workshop proposals can be sent to the Workshops Chairs
(workshop at accv2012.org),
Jong Il Park, Jun Mo Kim, Hideo Saito, Yanxi Liu, and Ming-Hsuan Yang.
The deadline for all workshop proposal submission has been extended to
April 27, 2012.

Proposals for tutorials are solicited for the 2012 ACCV.
Tutorials will take place on Nov. 5, 2012, at the same venue as the ACCV
main
conference. We hope to bring together researchers from different academic
communities as well as from industry or public institutions. Tutorial
duration may be a half day or full day.

Appropriate subjects for tutorials include recent topics from computer
vision as well as related fields or application areas. We are especially
interested in tutorials exploring new, emergent research directions in
computer vision, for example, vision based application for portable device.

Tutorial proposals can be sent to the Tutorial Chairs
(tutorial at accv2012.org),
Chang Dong Yoo, Yoshinori Kuno, and Michael S. Brown.
The deadline for all tutorial proposal submission is July 10th, 2012.
