Robocortex is a spin-off company of INRIA (French national institute for
research in computer science and control) that develops and sells real-time
vision based localization and 3D reconstruction software. Our products,
engineered with breakthrough technologies, are used to implement new
applications in Augmented Reality (PC, smart-phones, tablets) and in Autonomous
Robotics (unmanned aerial vehicles, humanoids, ...).
We are looking for a computer vision engineer to work in our R&D department. In
this position, you will work in collaboration with our academic partners to
enhance existing products and you will design, implement and test new
vision-based localization and 3D reconstruction products. You will work in
collaboration with our industrial partners at the deployment of our software in
commercial products.
You have a good knowledge of standard computer vision techniques like object
detection, tracking, 3D reconstruction or SLAM and you are able to implement
them in a structured and modular way to a professional standard. You have the
ability to work individually and in a group on collaborative projects. You will
work in a multicultural environment oriented to innovation and business. In an
international context, you are willing to join a dynamic and a fast-growing
company and to rapidly acquire important responsibilities.
*Education and Skills:*

MS or higher degree in computer science or related degree (Ph.D. In computer
vision is a plus).
*
Strong mathematical skills: Statistics, numerical methods, optimization, 3D
geometry, shape model.
*
Expert in Computer Vision: detection, tracking, 3D reconstruction, SLAM.
*
Excellent programming skills in C / C++.
*
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
